Abstract templates

Prepare your abstract using either the Word template or the complete LaTeX bundle. The PDF shows the compiled LaTeX layout.

Preparing your abstract
- Use one A4 page with 25 mm margins and the template’s font sizes. The abstract text must not exceed 300 words.
- Replace every bracketed placeholder. Use superscript numbers for affiliations and an asterisk for the presenting author.
- Delete all instructional text and unused optional sections. Keep any figures, captions and references within the one-page limit.
- Export a PDF and submit it with the editable Word or LaTeX source through the abstract submission form. Include any LaTeX figure files in a ZIP if needed.
LaTeX users: keep the included references.bib and rsc.bst files beside the source. Compile in the order pdfLaTeX, BibTeX, pdfLaTeX, pdfLaTeX. Google sign-in is required to submit because the form accepts file uploads.
